Based on the series Som da Rua (Street Sound), directed by Roberto Berliner and aired by TV Zero, Quasar preserves the musicality of words, people and things to usher in a choreography in which the sound of the Brazilian people are heard. It is an encounter between regional cultures and the post-modern aesthetics of dance, a dialogue between the popular music of Northeastern Brazil and the body language of the urban individual.
This performance stands out as a thematic landmark of the social-cultural issues raised by Quasar in recent years. It is a proposal that relates to a deeper understanding of issues pertaining to the reality of our people.
Choreography for Listening has been seen in over 10 countries.
