The inaccessibly close body of dancer Florence Perrin moves through coloured
gelatine, earth and shavings on a transparent plastic surface. From beneath - a frogs'
eye view - the recumbent audience sees the woman's body, close enough to touch,
pressing into the emulsion and leaving flowing, extending, strangely three-
dimensional prints behind her. At the same time, they hear Marguerite Duras' text of
the same name about unobtainable desires: the stage as a foil for desire, only an
arm's length away from the audience, becomes an emulsion of sexual wishes,
coming slowly closer before irrevocably receding again.
