Inspired by a true story of aggressive penguins settling in a small town at the Cape
of Good Hope, this production about the Antarctic's elegant swimmers yet clumsy,
earth-bound birds became a best-seller. To the sound of Arabic and African music,
gigantic snowstorms and cracking ice sweep across the stage. The realistically
portrayed penguins are victims of entropy. At first charming characters, they travel
North on an ice-floe and become cut off from their roots. They have to change,
adapt and re-equip themselves for survival, subsequently marching as warring
creatures against the rest of the world.
