The Stuttgart première of Eric Gauthier‘s humorous contribution to the great gala of Staatsballett Berlin, this time with dancers from Gauthier‘s own company. In an amusing variation on a typical Carmen performance he acts out both the excitment before the show as well as the clichés of Spanish passion and a dramatic death on stage.
