‘I’ve Changed My Mind’, created especially for São Paulo Dance Company by Israeli choreographer Shahar Binyamini, reflects about who we are as humans, animals, souls, and entities. The title is linked to the process of an artistic creation in the rehearsal room, and all those times that we need to renounce some concepts and embrace our doubts. “We are no longer ‘there’ (in the past) but ‘here’ (in the present) and this allows us the freedom of not being responsible for everything, but for what the situation itself asks of us”, says the choreographer. This dynamism proposed by the work is an invitation for the audience to open space within themselves - respecting their uniqueness - and meet what Shahar calls “the freshness of change”: an energy of constant exchange between the performers and the audience.
