Rodovalho says that in this work, he experiences expanded and contínuos movements based on the relation of the dancers, who remain all the time in stage. “References for this feature came from large groups of animals in motion and how they develop and relate”, comments the choreographer. This work deals with – what has to happen – in this brief space of time of existence os this great group, related mainly to some tyoe of pleasure. Therefore, the name Melhor Único Dia - in English: Best Single Day. To try to translate, in some way, the short existence that is expressed through group movement, says Rodovalho.

Henrique Rodovalho is artistic director and resident choreographer of Quasar Company of Dance, one of the most important artist in Brazil. His line of research is based on the existential complexity of body and soul. He has won several national and international awards such as the Mambembe Prize and XXI Choreographic Composition Award in Mexico.
