Bordin’s first creation for a Brazilian Company, Petrichor, name that refers to the smell of rain that reaches the floor – had how starting point, the music of Jóhann Jóhannsson and Win Mertens, which according to Bordin, allows a glimpse of choreographic creation. “When I hear Mertens, I can see the light, the costumes and steps. The characteristics of the Brazilian dancers were another source of inspiration for this work, everything was developed in dialogue with the cast. Each one of them brought a colour, a strong character, it was very diferente than I could imagine and it was the most rewarding part of creation of the choreography
