Bordin’s first creation for a Brazilian Company, Petrichor, name that refers to the smell of rain that reaches the floor – had how starting point, the music of Jóhann Jóhannsson and Win Mertens, which according to Bordin, allows a glimpse of choreographic creation. “When I hear Mertens, I can see the light, the costumes and steps. The characteristics of the Brazilian dancers were another source of inspiration for this work, everything was developed in dialogue with the cast.
