The third commission by Cassi Abranches to São Paulo Dance Company, explores the word “time” in every possible meaning regarding: musical aspect with dynamics and sonorities; chronological aspect with memories and expectations, temperature with different degrees and intensities. The choreographer sculpts the movements in each dancer's body from the musical rhythms of the track composed by
Sebastian Piraces, which uses drums and Afro-Brazilian percussion elements, mixed with contemporary rock and singing.
Choreographer | Cassi Abranches: Abranches has been dedicating her life to dance for more than 20 years as a dancer and choreographer of works for stage, cinema and video. Among her recent works as a choreographer, the commissioned work, Suite Branca, for Grupo Corpo and the opening for the Paralympics Rio 2016 stand out. This is her third commission for São Paulo Dance Company.
