The Spanish Cayetano Soto is famous for his technically top end, complex, unpredictable and going off in unexpected directions choreographies.
His work, specially his pas-de-deux are not only frenzy, agitated and so persistently aggressive but also extremely personal.
In Uneven he explores a sentiment of being off-balance, as he begun to contemplate it in his own life.
Soto has designed for the piece a stage that is itself uneven, rising at the corners, to illustrate this sense (or feeling) of physical imbalance.
