Eric Gauthier received his dance training in Canada and became an apprentice with the National Ballet of Canada under the direction of Reid Anderson in 1995. In 1996 Gauthier joined the Stuttgart Ballet when Anderson became Artistic Director there. In Stuttgart, Gauthier danced in a wide variety of classical and contemporary ballets and was promoted to Soloist in 2002. Since 2007 Gauthier has been the director of Gauthier Dance, resident company of the Theaterhaus Stuttgart. Gauthier Dance performs to sold out houses in Stuttgart and tours worldwide.
