studied cultural sciences and media studies in Berlin, and has worked as DJ, studio and band musician since the mid-1990s. He also works in the fields of musical theatre and sound art as freelance composer, author and artist. His installations Ja and Raum und Zeit were shown in Berlin. Since 2002, Martin Donner has regularly composed the stage music for various theatre and ballet companies, including for Hans Kresnik’s Baudelaire and René Pollesch’s LSD. In 2004 Donner composed his first work for Christian Spuck, for Die Kinder. This was followed by music for Shifting Portraits, Kelly, Watch the Stars, Der Sandmann, Don Q. and Leonce und Lena.
